Servers Against Aids Day
HIV West Yellowhead hosted its 6th Annual Servers Against AIDS Day on Saturday July 28rd, 2012. Servers donate a portion of their tips (some as much as half or more) for a day. Thank you so much to everyone who participated this year.
The Jasper Pizza Place matched its servers’ donations and raised the most funds with a whopping $1756. Cassio’s raised an amazing $600 and Coco’s Café was a close third with an unbelievable $527.49. The funds raised are used locally for prevention and education programs and a portion of the funds is donated to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, which works internationally to support those affected by HIV/AIDS, especially women and children in Southern Africa.
