GLBTQ Nights
Coordinator
Task: To organize GLBTQ nights.
This would entail creating posters, advertising/distributing posters,
making contact with interested peoples,
and coordinating events (such as movie nights, chat sessions…)
Who: a persistent, outgoing, committed volunteer
What: GLBTQ nights
When: Poster distribution to begin Monday May 1st 2006
Where: This would be a pilot program in Jasper, for now. Posters should
be distributed in staff accoms, bars, info boards around town, JPL… The
event locations are to be determined by the coordinator.
Why: To create a comfort zone/meeting place for those who may want one.
Time:
2 hours / once - Poster development
4 hours/month - Poster distribution
4 hours/month -
Making contact
4 hours/month - Coordinating bi-weekly event
4 hours/month - Events
Total Time:
16 hours/month (18 hours first month)
